Banteay Meanchey (Khmer: ខេត្តបន្ទាយមានជ័យ) is a Cambodian province. It is in the northwest of the country, and its capital is Sisophon. In the Khmer language, Banteay Meanchey means "Fortress of Victory". There is an international border crossing to Thailand located within the province in Poipet town. Banteay Meanchey is one of the nine provinces that is part of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve
